Fender Musical Instruments (Rhodes brand)
Jul 1981 to Mar 1984 Staff Engineer Woburn, MA
I continued to develop and maintain Apple and PC realtime application software in C, ASM, and Pascal. I was fully a software engineer at this point, although I was also a project leader in transferring the Chroma Polaris manufacturing to Japanese company.
Products from this era (Rhodes Chroma) enjoyed a cult following, and they are still being played today, 40 years after they were first introduced. You can find an article here that contains an interview with my manager at the time, Phil Dodds, and myself, about the development of these products.
